Jake
The prince! Jake loves Narnia, baseball, reading and just being a boy.
A vivid adventure was at Knott's Berry Farm on some crazy roller coasters with friends!
These days he is into gymnastics, legos and spaceships. For Christmas we got a Wii game console, so it's Lego Star Wars all the way!
Jake is helping wonderfully around the house, is the leader of the clan and helps keep an eye on the young and the restless... He likes fishing with his Dad, plays piano and started with guitar lessons. In Feb 2010 he invented the first Lego stop motion iPhone movie on his dad's phone. Over summer 2010 he completed the YMCA Junior Life Guard training certification.
Cathy
Cathy loves animals, dress-up, gymnastics and being Jake's sister.
After a successful gymnastics season in 2009, finishing at the State Championships for Level 5, Cathy kicked it up a notch with her training in 2010 moving onto Level 6, earning a gold medal on Beam in April 2010 at age 8.
She barely missed (by 8 points) qualifying for the TOPs National Team in August 2010, yet still has two years to go. Not bad for only 6 months of training these skills. Although gymnastics takes up most of her week, she loves playing piano, swimming and taking care of her sisters, and anyone in need.
Emma
Emma loves playing with her little people. She teaches school to her bear-class, and loves serving (fake) tea to anyone who will pause for a moment to sip.
Emma finished a wonderful year of Kindergarten in 2009, and blossoming anew. One of her famous quotes: "Daddy, I want to go to heaven. Jesus is taking too long. I want to see him... now. Why is he taking so long to come?"
Living in her own world, it's a bit boring with mere mortals, but her blanket and coloring pages, and dolls provide a other-worldly escape. She also has a young apprentice in Elize, who together can rule the strawberry-patch universe for hours on end.
Elize
Our newly born (that was so 2005), is growing rapidly. She walks, and climbs and gets into places quicker than a blink of the eye. Now she's 4 (so 2009)! Running, jumping and intense - we call her the Liesie-warrior.
Can anything stop this girl? She loves Star Wars, wearing Jake's clothes, swimming and making people laugh with her giggle-cheeks. One of her famous quotes: "Luke Skywalker is my boyfriend." Then during the Beijing Olympics, asked "When is Michael Phelps going to baby-sit us?"
She loves playing intensely, has a constant smile and infuses joy into every situation.
Her latest past-time is watching you-tube videos of Cathy in the gym, earning here new nickname "Make it big screen, Daddy".
